Medical Interests

Dr. Lee works with patients of varying ages to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), smoking, diabetes, hypertension, lung cancer, recurrent effusions and those experiencing heart failure symptoms. Dr. Lee has special training and certification in highly complex transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).

Medical Philosophy

Dr. Lee wants his patients to have an active role in the decision-making process about their health care. He will listen to his patients’ needs and concerns and educates them on the best treatment options, including new technologies. Because he is dedicated to educating patients about their health, patients appreciate his attention to detail and the care he provides. He believes that the more the doctor and patient work together as a team, the more successful the outcome. For him, it always comes back to the patient—he loves to see them smile, knowing he is improving their lives.

Personal Interests

When not working at Meriter, Dr. Lee enjoys staying fit through weight training and bicycling. He also loves relaxing with a good book.
