Medical Interests

Dr. Lee was drawn to the specialty of cardiothoracic surgery during his surgical residency program where he spent three years in heart and lung transplant research. He feels this is one of the most demanding but also most rewarding fields of medicine. He is captivated by the “romance” of the field – the human aspect of the heart and the emotions that surround it.

Dr. Lee has significant training in aortic surgery, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), endovascular stent graphs, minimally invasive surgery—both cardiac and thoracic—as well as heart failure surgery.

Medical Philosophy

For Dr. Lee, it is important that his patients feel well cared for. He demonstrates this dedication through his commitment to the Three-C’s: Care, Communication and Compassion. By treating his patients as he would his own family, he provides the best care possible and always keeps their best interests in mind.

Personal Interests

In his free time, Dr. Lee stays in shape, both in body and mind, through running, fitness training, weight training, yoga and meditation. To relax, he enjoys reading and traveling with his family.
