Medical Interests

Krista enjoys working in the field of orthopedics. She likes the diagnostics aspect of determining what causes the patients’ symptoms. Surgery allows her to work with patients from their initial consult, assisting in surgery, rounds and post-op appointments. She enjoys the continuity of care of patients, from the initial complaint to their recovery outcome.

Medical Philosophy

Krista was always interested in medicine, which led her to become a Physician Assistant. At a prior position, she worked at Meriter with daily rounds and surgeries. Her patients would say that she is approachable, reliable and caring. Krista gives her patients full attention and wants to grasp not only their physical complaints, but also be cognizant of their social situations. She thoroughly enjoys helping people and wants to be there for her patients in all aspects.

Personal Interests

Krista enjoys spending time with her husband, children and stepchildren. She loves to travel, particularly to warm destinations. Recently, she was a stay-at-home-mom and volunteered at the Benevolent Specialist Project; a free medical clinic. Between family priorities, she pursues photography/media editing, attends local concerts and yoga.
