Dr. Pribbenow enjoys a patient panel with variety – from newborns to seniors. Within Family Medicine, she has a special interest in working with adolescent females, as she feels she’s able to relate and connect easily with patients in this age group.
Dr. Pribbenow believes that a relationship between doctor and patient should be a partnership, not a dictatorship. She understands that each patient has a unique situation, and there is not always a “right answer.” But instead, through honest conversation and mutual respect, you can get to the “best answer” for the patient. It’s important for patients to be upfront about expectations right from the beginning and there needs to be a willingness from the physician and the patient to work through problems – together.
Dr. Pribbenow feels that her light-hearted, practical, problem-solving personality makes for a great fit within Family Medicine. She hopes that her patients will look forward to appointments with her, as her goal is always to make her patients feel as comfortable as possible. Patients should never feel intimidated about calling for an appointment, since Dr. Pribbenow would much rather find nothing, than let the patient’s concerns and pains build up.
Outside of work, Dr. Pribbenow enjoys cooking, gardening and being outdoors.
